EPS - We are offering the Electronic Prescription Service if you want your prescription to go to your preferred pharmacy ask them to nominate you. You will still order your prescriptions in the same way but they are sent to the pharmacy electronically. Note you do not have to have a computer at home for this. If you request items that are not on repeat these have to be agreed with the GP and may be refused.

Note emails to the practice should not be used for clinical queries due to confidentiality and the potential for it being urgent.

We expect all of our patients to advise us in good time if they cannot attend an appointment so that appointment can be offered to another patient, we fully understand that there may be genuine reasons for not attending an appointment and also that errors can be made by the practice when booking appointments. The Practice will follow the policy below.

  • The Practice will run a DNA audit on a weekly basis to check the rate (did not attend)
  • The results are discussed at the weekly meeting with GP partners to see if they may be aware of circumstances the patient may not have been able to attend or cancel.
  • Following the meeting the patient may receive a letter from their GP to remind them of the importance of attending or cancelling their appointment in order to allow another patient the time.

Please help us to help you and contact us to cancel.
