THE SURGERY IS NOT BOOKING ANY APPOINTMENTS AT THE MOMENT AT THE TOWN HALL.

PLEASE NOTE:  ALL GP APPOINTMENTS REMAIN TELEPHONE CONSULTATIONS FIRST, THE GP OR NURSE WILL CALL YOU AS CLOSE TO THE APPOINTMENT TIME AS POSSIBLE. IF THE GP FEELS YOU NEED TO BE SEEN FACE TO FACE, THEY WILL MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR YOU TO BE SEEN AT THE SURGERY.

OUR NURSING TEAM ARE SEEING PATIENTS IN FULL PPE FOR INJECTIONS,  WOUNDCARE, BLOOD TESTS CHILDHOOD IMMS & SMEARS.  PLEASE CALL THE APPOINTMENTS LINE. REVIEW OF DIABETES AND RESPIRATORY LONG TERM CONDITIONS REMAIN TELEPHONE CONSULTATIONS. (Unless told otherwise)

If the GPs are emailing you correspondence, please allow at least 24 hours.

If asked to attend a face to face appointment please ensure you wear a face covering/mask.

We want you to know you aren’t alone. However dementia affects you, Alzheimer’s Society is therefor you - and they can help you seven days a week through their support line (0333 150 3456), online community Talking Point and website.   

PLEASE CONTACT OUR COMMUNITY MIDWIVES ZOE STRACHAN (07971981471) OR MAI NGU (07866671243) DIRECT IF YOU NEED TO SEE THE MIDWIFE AND THEY WILL ORGANISE YOU AN APPOINTMENT. NEWLY PREGNANT PATIENTS WILL NEED A TELEPHONE CONSULTATION WITH THE GP WHO WILL REFER THEM TO THE MIDWIFE.

Note - Cervical Cytology - Please be aware there is a current delay in the practice receiving smear results.  Current turnaround is between 10 - 12 Weeks from the lab. Cytology are doing everything they can do to ensure results are processed as quickly as possible.  

From Friday the 1st May 2020 the practice will be offering extended access appointments on

Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings 

These appointments are being made available to patients who are registered with our practices within our primary care network. Please call our appointment line on 373 2211 for further advice.

Saturday Nursing Appointments are on hold for the foreseeable future.
EPS - You Must Nominate A Pharmacy For Your Electronic Prescription Service

You will still order your prescriptions in the same way but they are sent to the pharmacy electronically. Note you do not have to have a computer at home for this.   

If you request items that are not on repeat these have to be agreed with the GP and may be refused.   Due to the increase in volume of prescription requests please allow 3 FULL WORKING days between requesting and collecting your medication taking weekends and Bank Holidays into account. 

Note: Emails to the Practice should not be used for clinical queries due to confidentiality and the potential for it being urgent. Practice email account is not monitored 24/7.

You can order online via Patient Services below if you are already registered.

There is a Registration Form on the right hand side of the screen if not yet registered for this service.

We also offer 'electronic prescriptions' to save you time. If you nominate at your chosen pharmacy the prescription can go directly to them to save you a journey in collecting from us. 

Patients on long-term medication who are eligible for repeat prescriptions can order them in a number of ways:

  • In Person - drop your repeat slip in at reception with the required items clearly marked.
  • By Post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
  • By Telephone Housebound Patients Only - on 0121 306 4604
  • By Fax - to 0121 382 1274
  • Online - follow the link on this website to access. Please note that a registration form will need to be completed and returned to the Practice to obtain a registration token.

      Our practice pharmacist assists with issues relating to prescribing and is available by arrangement to discuss matters relating to prescriptions and medicines.

(Please note that antibiotics may not be requested using this service unless prior approval has been given by your Doctor)

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see either a doctor or a practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications.

Due to the increase in volume of prescription requests, please allow 3 full working days between requesting and collecting your medication taking weekends and bank holidays into account. If you request items not on repeat these will take longer as need approval by your GP.
