EPS - You Must Nominate A Pharmacy For Your Electronic Prescription Service.

You will still order your prescriptions in the same way but they are sent to the pharmacy electronically. Note you do not have to have a computer at home for this.  If you do not so this the practice will nominate Wylde Green Pharmacy for your first order. If you request items that are not on repeat these have to be agreed with the GP and may be refused.

Note emails to the practice should not be used for clinical queries due to confidentiality and the potential for it being urgent.

Practice Management

The Practice Business Manager, Team Leader and Lead Receptionist are involved in managing all of the aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The management team support the GPs, medical professionals and administrative staff with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Reception

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing online registration tokens and verifying patient identification for all new registrations. Receptionists can also show patients how to use the Self Check In screen.
